01 Design
When you order from Khiri Studio your piece does not exist yet. It will be made for you, by hand, over 1 to 3 weeks. That is not a delay — that is the whole point.
02 Preparation
Good wood doesn't just happen. It is chosen, milled, dried and planed to the precise dimensions each project needs. This step is the same whether I am making a Shoji lamp, a Nihonto Holder or a Belt Display — because everything that comes after depends on getting this right.
03 Assembly
Assembly is part machine, part hands, entirely craft. Electric tools cut and shape the main components, but the fitting, detailing and finishing touches are all done by hand. This is the stage that separates a good piece from a great one.
04 Finishing
The last hands that touch your piece apply the finish. A natural oil, worked slowly into the wood by hand, bringing out the grain and protecting it for years to come. Once dry, everything is packed with care and shipped directly to your door.
