Modern Kumiko Lamp

When modern design meets traditional craft.

Khiri Lamp my new project with a fresh new design in which I wanted to combine the traditional style of Kumiko with a modern touch and a new design to fit in all styles of houses (Scandinavian, Minimalistic, Modern, Contemporary, etc.) but also to fit perfectly with traditional houses or dojos.

 

The structure features the classic Asanoha Kumiko pattern, a symbol of harmony and growth, carefully integrated into a refined, modern form. Additional Kumiko patterns and new veneer options will be introduced in future designs. 

For this project I'd used high quality veneer Celebes Ebony.This lamp is 55 cm (21.654 inches) height and 31 by 31cm (12.598 inches) wide and can be used like a floor or table lamp and it comes with 2 metres of textile cable.
