Katana Stand for 6 Swords – Compact Stair Design (Walnut & Maple)

This katana stand was originally designed for a custom order with a clear goal: keep it compact, functional, and visually balanced while holding 6 swords.

The result is a stair-style display that holds 4 swords in the front and 2 in the back, giving each piece its own space without overcrowding the stand. Even with its capacity, the design stays clean and compact, making it easy to place in any room.

Crafted from European walnut and maple, the stand combines strength with contrast. The structure is solid and stable, built to safely support all six swords. In the center, you’ll notice a connecting piece inspired by a traditional shoji window — a subtle detail that adds character and ties the whole design together.

This piece follows a custom idea, but stays true to my style of simple, balanced craftsmanship.
